THE Football League are finalising a deal with the Premier League for the provision of £50m of support to League One and Two clubs – £20m in grants and £30m in loans.
I like to be fair and rational in assessing any situation.
Just because the Premier League is receiving around £5bn over three years (2019-2022) doesn’t automatically mean that they have money to burn. Neither does the fact that eight clubs individually spent over £50m net in this summer’s Covid transfer window.
