SHEEHAN CHUFFED AT WELSH CALL-UP

NEWPORT midfielder Josh Sheehan insists he never gave up hope of a senior international callup, after being included in Wales’ squad for their November triple-header.
The 25-year-old – a product of the Swansea academy – was part of the national team set-up as a junior, featuring for Wales’ Under-19 and Under- 21 sides before falling out of the picture four years ago.
Sheehan has established himself as an integral component in the Newport team since joining permanently in January 2018, and captained the Exiles under the watchful eye of Wales ...
