GLYN Hodges will be the proudest man in Wimbledon on Tuesday night, as he leads his side out at their new home for the very first time.
The near 30-year wait for the Dons to return to Plough Lane will finally be over, as they welcome Doncaster Rovers for what will be a special occasion under the lights in south west London.
Having painted terrace stanchions and the dressing rooms of the previous incarnation of Plough Lane, which the club left in 1991, Hodges knows more than most what the moment will mean to fans of the phoenix club.
