Molesley sounds an alarm at Shrimpers

MARK MOLESLEY demanded better from his winless Southend United side after they slipped to another loss to remain rooted to the foot of League Two.
Peter Clarke headed Tranmere in front midway through the first period, before James Vaughan sealed the win early in the second.
The defeat was the Shrimpers’ sixth of the season and Molesley fired a warning shot to his struggling side.
“We have got to be better because at the moment it is own downfall,” he said.
“The goal got their tails up and they got a deflected goal.
