NIKO’S HUNGRY TO STAR WITH HOOPS

QPR defender Niko Hamalainen is eager to show what he can do after pledging his future to the club.
The 23-year-old signed a new fouryear contract with the Hoops.
Hamalainen joined QPR in 2014 from the FC Dallas academy and has had loan spells at Dagenham & Redbridge, Los Angles FC and Kilmarnock.
“I feel this is a really significant time for me and my career,” the Finland international told the R’s website. “I am so hungry to do well, and that’s the main focus for me now - to play as many games as I can for the first team and push on.”
