GILLINGHAM striker Vadaine Oliver is confident they can be battling at the top come the end of the season.
The 28-year-old, signed in the summer from Northampton, has helped Gills to make a strong start to the campaign.
“We have a great spirit in this team.
Everyone’s into the same kind of things, we have the same interests and we have just clicked,” Oliver said. “It’s rare to find such a group that is so tight. We’ve got all the quality.
“We’ve got that spirit about us; that edge. I think we can match anyone.”
