IPSWICH Town soared to the summit of League One with a ruthless demolition of struggling Blackpool at Bloomfield Road.
Goals from Luke Chambers, Gwion Edwards and Teddy Bishop put the visitors out of sight by half-time.
Gary Madine’s scrambled finish briefly threatened a comeback, but a fine solo second from man-of-the-match Edwards gave the scoreline a gloss that Ipswich thoroughly deserved.
