COX GLEE AS TAYLOR JOINS UP

NEIL COX is hoping Jake Taylor can emulate last season’s loan spell at Port Vale after bringing him to Scunthorpe.
The 22-year-old midfielder scored five goals in 18 outings for the Valiants during a temporary spell from Nottingham Forest last term.
Taylor will now spend the season with the Iron, and Cox said: “Jake went on loan last year and did really well. He’s a lad who can score goals from midfield and can play a number of positions.
