Blues fan in special tribute to legend…

IPSWICH Town fan Malcolm Thompson called Kevin Beattie a hero and friend – and now he’s set to walk more than 300 miles in his honour!
A Blues stalwart of the 70s and early 80s, legendary defender Beattie won the FA Cup and UEFA Cup with the Suffolk outfit and also earned nine England caps.
With strength, speed and technical ability, Beattie, who passed away two years ago at the age of 64, would surely have achieved a lot more if injuries hadn’t dogged his career.
