TAYLOR ON TARGET AGAIN FOR THE EXILES

RYAN TAYLOR’S second-half goal turned Newport County’s “good start to the season” into a “very good start”, according to manager Michael Flynn.
Taylor opened his account in the draw at Scunthorpe with a deflected goal a week earlier, but there was no disputing the quality of his 48th-minute strike that regained the lead for the home side against new boys Barrow at Rodney Parade.
Barrow’s Sam Hird attempted a pass across his box and only found a grateful Taylor who hammered the ball past Joel Dixon.
