I’M a big fan of Gareth Ainsworth, the manager of Wycombe Wanderers. Whenever I’ve worked with him on TV, he’s always been very engaging and honest.
Even now, after promotion to the Championship, I think he’s very undervalued. Over the years, I’ve seen so many managers linked with big jobs who - in my opinion - aren’t half the manager Gareth is.
Let’s face it, when you get tipped for relegation and end up getting promoted that shows what you’re all about. Staying up, though, would top everything. It’s going to be a huge ask, and last wee...
