CLOTET PEPS UP BLUES’ CUP AMBITIONS…

PEP Clotet has done his homework. He knew before Birmingham kicked off this FA Cup season that their recent record in the competition was woeful.
“People told me that Birmingham have not been past the early rounds of the FA Cup for a long time,” said Clotet.
“That they would be happy to do better this time.”
Spaniard Clotet, right, who took over as Blues manager on what was effectively a trial basis last summer and has done well, kept his word.
Wednesday night at Leicester will be the first time Birmingham City have made the fifth round in eight years.
