CARDIFF goalkeeper Alex Smithies is relishing the chance to show what he can do again.
The 29-year-old signed from QPR back in 2018,but did not make a single Premier League start for the Bluebirds last season.
This term he has been given an opportunity, one which he has grasped with both hands. But having seemingly nailed down his starting berth under Neil Harris, Smithies is keeping calm.
“I’m really pleased to be getting a good run in this team,” he said. “I played ten games at the start of the season and enjoyed that spell.
