Under normal circumstances, that would represent a cushion big enough for survival.
But these are not normal circumstances.
Kamil Grosicki’s £800,000 move to West Brom and the £20m sale of Jarrod Bowen to West Ham have ripped the heart, soul and lungs out of this Tigers team.
The 16 goals scored by Bowen and the six provided by Grosicki represented 56 per cent of Hull’s total output. That’s not to mention a combined total of 13 assists...
