JOE Rankin-Costello can be a Blackburn star, according to Tony Mowbray, after the youngster thrust himself into Rovers’ firstteam plans.
Having appeared in the Carabao Cup clash against Sheffield United earlier this season, 20-year-old Rankin-Costello came off the bench for his Championship debut against Sheffield Wednesday last weekend.
And the midfielder immediately caught the eye – assisting Sam Gallagher’s late goal that completed a 5-0 thrashing of the Owls.
