TYKES IN DEAL FOR ‘SPECIAL’ RITZMAIER

BARNSLEY manager Gerhard Struber has hailed new signing Marcel Ritzmaier as a “special” player whose experience and versatility will be an asset to the team.
The 26-year-old Austrian midfielder has joined the Tykes from Struber’s former club Wolfsberger AC on a twoand- a-half-year contract.
Struber said of his compatriot: “Marcel is a special player and will offer us more options for positions in the diamond. He can play in what I would call the number eight, the six and the No.10 role.
