THE more characters we have in the Football League, the better – and Ian Holloway certainly fits into that category.
Ollie, as he is affectionately known, is renowned for his colourful turn of phrase, but it shouldn’t be overlooked that he has a deep football knowledge and desire to learn.
After his last stint in charge at QPR ended in somewhat sour circumstances in May 2018, we wondered if we would see him back in the dugout again.
After all, he could have easily settled for a relaxing life as a football pundit with plenty of work pouring in.
