ANDY Cannon hopes to be firing on all cylinders for Portsmouth in the coming weeks.
The 23-year-old midfielder made his first League One start in three months as Pompey claimed a 1-0 win against Ipswich last weekend and was in the XI again for the 2-0 Boxing Day victory against pacesetters Wycombe, and he hopes to add to that over the festive period.
“There are occasions where you just have to bide your time and be ready to take the chance when it comes along,” said Cannon, who joined Pompey from Rochdale a year ago.
