BOSS John Dempster had a candid meeting with his Mansfield squad last weekend in a bid to turn their season around.
The Stags were beaten 3-0 at home by Cheltenham to leave them sitting 18th, and Dempster, 36, had his players in the next day for a chat.
“I had the lads in on Sunday and some of the players spoke truthfully about the season. There was a lot of honesty and some of the senior pros spoke well,” he said.
“There will be changes (in January) because we find ourselves in a difficult predicament.
