MCGEADY HEADS FOR CATS EXIT

SUNDERLAND boss Phil Parkinson has told winger Aiden McGeady he can find a new club in January as he is not part of his plans.
The 33-year-old, who is under contract until the end of next season, was left on the bench for last weekend’s 1-0 defeat at Gillingham.
It has been reported McGeady had been involved in an incident at Sunderland’s training ground.
Parkinson said any conversations would remain “private”, but added: “We’ve spoken to Aiden about moving on and it’s fair to tell him now to give him an opportunity to sort something out....
