BOSS John Askey sees “no reason” why Port Vale “can’t achieve something” this season.
The Valiants are 10th in League Two after 17 games, two points off the play-off places.
Askey said: “We’re trying to achieve something and you only achieve things by working hard.
“The staff have been in teams where they have won things, so we’ve got experience of doing it, we know what it takes.
“We know that we’re not the best team in the league, but there’s still no reason why we can’t achieve something.
