CRAIG Conway was attracted by Salford City’s ambition after signing a short-term deal at the club.
The 34-year-old winger had been without a club since leaving Blackburn at the end of last season.
But he played 76 minutes of the 3-0 win at Walsall last weekend and said: “I felt good, I felt pretty fit and to get off to a winning start was brilliant.
“The ambition of the club speaks for itself. I have watched the documentary and I knew of the manager (Graham Alexander) and I could see the ambition that they’ve got. I just wanted to be part of that.”
