PORT Vale have endured a rough time over the last few years, but skipper Leon Legge is convinced they’re now on the right track.
Ahead of yesterday’s game at Leyton Orient, Vale lay safely in mid-table in League Two – it’s something the 34-year-old would have gladly accepted given the conclusion to last season.
The veteran defender has become a mainstay at Vale Park since his arrival in May of last year but endured a tough introduction to life in Staffordshire as they finished 20th in League Two for the second year running.
