WALSALL held on to clinch their third successive victory and ruin Gabriele Cioffi’s 50th league game as Crawley head coach. The Saddlers bagged the points with first-half goals from James Clarke, Elijah Adebayo and Wes McDonald. A penalty by Ashley Nathaniel- George briefly pulled the score back to 2-1, and a late stoppagetime strike by Josh Payne could not deny Walsall.
