PEARSON HOPING TO CALM RED MIST

PRESTON North End midfielder Ben Pearson accepts he will miss games through suspension this season. The 24-year-old has a poor disciplinary record, receiving 57 yellow cards and four reds in his past four campaigns.
Pearson knows bookings come with the territory in his role as the aggressor in the middle of the park for North End, but is now looking to limit the damage.
“My aim this year is to play 40 or 50 games and I don’t want to miss games through illness or niggles.” he said.
