MAX BIAMOU will fight for a first-team place at Coventry after the club turned down offers for the striker to leave on loan.
The 28-year-old is building up his fitness following a nine-month absence with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Biamou is playing under-23 football for the Sky Blues at the moment but has his sights set on a firstteam return.
“I never considered leaving,” he said. “I just want to fight and be in the starting XI.
“If I went on loan that’s exactly what I would have to do at another club.”
