THE battle to win promotion into the Football League this season looks like it’s going to be wide open.
With the favourites underachieving so far, there is a golden opportunity for someone unexpected to take the National League by the scruff of the neck.
Not many people thought newly promoted Woking would be top of the league after ten games. There weren’t many who tipped Halifax, Maidenhead and Stockport to be up there either.
