Let’s hope Bury can rise like the Dons

THE past week must have been a nightmare for Bury supporters and you can only sympathise with them.
Last Tuesday there was hope that a takeover would go through and the Shakers would cling on to their prized League status.
As we all know now, it wasn’t to be. The takeover fell through and soon after the bell tolled on the Shakers as an EFL club.
The EFL insist they gave the club every opportunity to save themselves and are clearly not for turning. The supporters feel angry and let down by those in charge at Gigg Lane in recent times and you can’t blame them for that...
