Neal Maupay went to Brighton. Romaine Sawyers to West Brom. Ezri Konsa to Aston Villa. Dan Bentley, the keeper, joined Bristol City.
Their business model is to buy potential and sell it on for a profit, so it’s inevitable that you will lose your best players.
