MICHAEL Flynn hailed the impact of Newport first-half substitute Kyle Howkins, whose late header secured victory over Plymouth.
Howkins was called into action in the early stages of the first-half period after star man Mickey Demetriou was carried off the field with, what looked like, a serious leg injury.
And in what was a tense affair, his 81st-minute goal ensured the Exiles remain unbeaten in the league this season.
