Cruise for Rovers as Ferrier hits a double

MICKY MELLON refused to get carried away after Tranmere smashed five past troubled Bolton to pick up their first win of the season.
A Morgan Ferrier brace and goals from Ollie Banks, Connor Jennings and Stefan Payne completed the rout, in a fierce contest that was played in a white-hot atmosphere.
The Rovers boss said: “It was a difficult game for us but one that we would have expected to win, with all due respect to Bolton. There was a lot of pressure on us to make sure that we got the job done and we did.
