WATERFALL CHECKS IN AT GRIMSBY

LEAGUE ONE
SHREWSBURY defender Luke Waterfall has joined Grimsby after his contract was terminated by mutual consent.
The 29-year-old has signed a two-year deal at Blundell Park after being told he would not be guaranteed a starting spot by Shrews by boss Sam Ricketts. “Because of the character he is he wants to just play football,” said Ricketts. “An opportunity has come up closer to where he lives and it’s something that he is interested in. We are pleased for him.”
