WYCOMBE boss Gareth Ainsworth has expressed his delight at Darius Charles’ swift return to the club.
The former Stevenage and AFC Wimbledon defender left the Chairboys in July when his contract expired due to an ongoing hip injury.
But the 31-year-old completed pre-season, leading to a short-term deal until January. “He’s shown immense strength of character to come through it and worked hard,” said Ainsworth.
