NEW Exeter City signing Nicky Ajose has his eyes set on automatic promotion upon his return to League Two after his release from Charlton Athletic.
Ajose helped Mansfield reach fourth place in the league last season, and believes Exeter have the squad to go one step further.
He said: “It was quite tight all the way last year in that you could go from seventh to third in a week so hopefully this year we’ll be able to go up automatically.
