First match?
It was Manchester City against Tottenham at Maine Road – I couldn’t say what year it was, but I must’ve been about seven or eight. My dad – who was a season ticket holder – took me and I’m pretty sure City won. I just remember being in awe of the stadium. I’d seen it on TV, but it was so different in real life. I just managed to play at Maine Road before they moved to the Etihad which was quite a big thing for me and my family.
