FERRIER CHUGS IN AT ROVERS

MORGAN Ferrier is out to impress at Tranmere after arriving at the club from Walsall for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old, who scored six goals for the Saddlers last season, had been a long-term target for Rovers boss Micky Mellon.
“I’m really happy to bring his a player with his qualities into the group,” Mellon said.
“He’s still young at 24 and if he keeps improving we’ll have a top player. We’re excited to be working with Morgan.”
