MY NEXT TIP FOR THE TOP? ME OF COURSE!

UP: Graham Alexander

AT THE back end of the 2017/18 season, I promoted the names of two managers in my column: Grant McCann and Graham Alexander.
Both men had worked for me, at Posh and Preston.
Both were hugely talented coaches and both were tremendous professionals.
It was great to see both move into new jobs and for Grant to reach the League One play-offs with Donny and Grezza to win promotion into League Two with Salford.
Grant has, of course, earned himself promotion now with his move to Hull City and I have no doubt he will continue to excel.
