LEAGUE ONE
SOUTHEND have added experience to their defensive ranks with the signing of Liam Ridgewell.
The 35-year-old has signed a one-year deal at Roots Hall, with an extra year in the club’s favour, having been released by Hull earlier this summer.
Ridgewell, who has Premier League experience with Aston Villa, Birmingham and West Brom, returned to England in January after four years in Major League Soccer.
