LIVERPOOL striker Ben Woodburn is hoping to use his season- long loan at Oxford as “a stepping stone I need to push on”.
The 19-year-old Wales international, who can also play on the wing, enjoyed time on loan at Sheffield United last season as they returned to the Premier League after 12 years.
Recognising the latest opportunity, Woodburn said: “It’s a great league, it’s a tough league and I’ve just got to show what I can do in these games and hopefully show my quality.”
