DEFIANT manager Gareth Ainsworth has backed his Wycombe warriors to win their relegation fight – and prove the knockers wrong.
The Chairboys succumbed to their fifth defeat in a row when they fell 1-0 at home against promotion- chasing Charlton on Tuesday night.
It left them just one point and one place above the drop zone heading into yesterday’s crunch clash at fellow strugglers Southend.
