DIOUF IN BID TO PLACATE POTTERS FAITHFUL

STOKE striker Mame Biram Diouf has attempted to clarify comments he made which suggested he felt Potters fans were ‘the worst’.
The 31-year-old was a regular in the Premier League last season but has struggled to nail down a regular spot this term, limited to just 13 appearances heading into this weekend.
Just six of those have been starts as Stoke have toiled in the bottom half of the Championship for much of the season, a disappointing campaign for the former Premier League club.
