MAL Benning feels his inclusion in the League Two Team of the Season was reward for the hard work he has put in this term.
The 25-year-old leftback was joined in the line-up by fellow Mansfield players Krystian Pearce, CJ Hamilton and Tyler Walker.
Benning said: “It was a special moment for me and the other three lads.
“It’s a big achievement for us. It was something I felt my hard work has paid off for.
“I feel like I’ve done well each season, but now we’re challenging for promotion so it adds to your cause.”
