Police investigate fracas with Stendel

HOLD ON: Police halt Joey Barton’s exit

POLICE stopped Fleetwood Town manager Joey Barton from leaving Oakwell after an alleged tunnel assault on Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel following yesterday’s League One clash.
Barnsley striker Cauley Woodrow, whose side won 4-2, tweeted that Barton confronted Stendel following the game and claimed the Tykes boss was was left with “blood pouring from his face”.
