EXPERIENCED Colchester man Sam Saunders is gunning for promotion at his new club, after making the switch to the Job-Serve Community Stadium last week.
The midfielder made his debut last Saturday, as his seven-minute cameo helped inspire a lastgasp 1-0 victory for the U’s away to Cambridge.
The win took the side within a point of the playoff positions before yesterday’s action.
