INJURED WING TO HAVE AN OP SOON

SIDELINED: Lewis Wing

MIDDLESBROUGH midfielder Lewis Wing is set for an operation on his troublesome groin injury. Wing came off the bench early in the second half of Tuesday’s 1-0 home defeat by Bristol City, which was his first appearance since mid-March.
The 23-year-old, though, will now face an extended spell on the sidelines, but the club did not confirm if his issue would end his season with Boro still battling for promotion.
