ADEYEMI’S FINALLY ON MEND

TOM Adeyemi made a welcome return to training at Ipswich this week.
The 27-year-old winger has endured an injury-hit spell with the Tractor Boys since joining the club from Cardiff in June 2017.
Illness, a calf issue, hamstring problems and then a pre-season Achilles injury that required surgery have restricted the former Norwich youngster to just five appearances.
But Ipswich boss Paul Lambert is glad to have him back, and said: “He’s been unfortunate with injuries, but I know what he can do. He’s a top guy as well.”
