WALSALL physio Marc Czuczman says the club will be working hard to help get winger Maz Kouhyar fit again. The 21-year-old Afghanistan international faces a long spell on the sidelines after rupturing an anterior cruciate ligament. He suffered the injury in training and is set to undergo an operation.
Czuczman said: “He planted his foot at speed to change direction and his knee flexed. He felt a sharp pain and collapsed straight away.
“It was confirmed he had ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament. He may have torn the medial and lateral meniscus.”
