THE EFL have released their threeman shortlist for the Championship player of the year award but let’s face it – we all know that Teemu Pukki is the only contender.
Norwich City’s fearsome Finn hasn’t just outscored his rivals for the award, Che Adams of Birmingham and Billy Sharp at Sheffield United.
He has out-created them, too. With nine assists to his name, Pukki is just two shy of leaders Kamil Grosicki, Pablo Hernandez and Said Benrahma – leading to the possibility that he could finish the campaign top of both charts.
