DAVID FLITCROFT hailed an outstanding effort from his players as Mansfield kept their hopes of automatic promotion alive by hammering Exeter.
Two goals each from impressive front men CJ Hamilton and Tyler Walker, who capitalised on some shoddy defending, did the damage and all but ended Exeter’s hopes of a top-three finish.
“The boys were outstanding. Every single player had that drive, energy and urgency,” Flitcroft said.
