WIGAN goalkeeper Christian Walton says that goalkeeping coach Nick Colgan is the reason he enjoys training so much.
Walton, who relieved Jamie Jones of his duties between the sticks against Bolton earlier this month, has high praise for the former Republic of Ireland international’s methods and work ethic.
The 23-year-old is nearing the end of his second loan spell with the Latics before he returns to parent club Brighton and will be eager to avoid coming away with Championship relegation on his CV.
